West London June 2012 Meeting

Adverse Possession for Investors – Peter Hogan

Adverse Possession – or how you can legally possess and claim empty properties for free.
There are over 840,000 empty properties in the country, many of them have been empty for many years, and you can legally claim possession and title! FOR FREE!

Peter will talk you through the principles of adverse possession and how you can make it work for you.

Peter Hogan, who bought his very first BTL property in 1986,  is a well-known speaker and noted for his creative strategies in property investing, particularly with lease options. Peter is the ONLY investor in the country, possibly the world, running seminars and courses in Adverse Possession.

Don't miss this one.  Book early before it sells out!

Why has the UK become a nation of property renters instead of buyers? – Christopher Watkin

Christopher Watkin,  Head of Recruitment for Belvoir Lettings who have over 140 offices in the UK, talks about why the British have ended their affair with property ownership and renting has become the norm. He will discuss if Britain is turning to the European model of property ownership?

Quite surprisingly, it has nothing to do with a lack of mortgages but everything to do with a set of events that started in the late 1970’s, Margaret Thatcher, the introduction of Assured Shorthold  Tenancy agreement, the press and events that are still continuing today.

With this knowledge, be you a landlord, investor or agent, you too will be able to see the private rental sector in a different light, why it should continue to grow over the next decade and thus be able to make a better informed decisions about property for future
